The Lovato HS 220 DN40/DN50 hydraulic separator is a compensation chamber designed to make hydraulic circuits independents. It is used when, in the same system, the pump of the primary circuit (energy source) and one or more pumps of the secondary circuit (heating circuit) interact; its use helps to eliminate the problems of the variations of the flow rate and head of the circuits.
Deflector for stratification
The main chamber conformation guarantees low speed of the heat transfer fluid reducing the mixing processes.
Air separator and dirt separator function
Inside the compensation chamber there is a deflector that improves the stratification and a “flow breaker” that allows the sedimentation of the mud. Both systems also facilitate the breaking of the air microbubbles and their expulsion.

The Hercules has been designed on an installer friendly rapid bolt together design. Each module is terminated in a standard flange connection, this enables the build of a whole header / manifold in less than an hour!
Designed For Maintenance
The Hercules includes Fill/Drain Ports, Dry Pockets, Isolation Valves, Temperature Gauges, Non-Return Valve, Test Points and a Removable Insulation Jacket to make setup and maintenance a breeze.
Low Loss & Dirt / Air Separator
The Hercules is crafted with inherent value, incorporating a Header that serves as a Low Loss Header with a baffle to separate dirt and air. Furthermore, the Header integrates a diverting pipe to deter mixing for enhanced energy efficiency.
Design Flexibility
The Hercules can be selected with bend kits and reducers to support a variety of installation shapes, sizes and restrictions including Back to Back, L Shaped and more.
